University of Derby

The University of Derby has a reputation for providing an extremely caring student environment with specific focus on vocationally degree courses.

StrategicFusion undertook a research exercise to help inform the potential pricing strategy for the University in 2012, to identify and understand the key selection and price influencing factors.

We undertook a qualitative research project structured around parent and student groups and based in two locations. Parents and students were split into two groups each exploring identical topic areas and then brought together to compare and contrast their views and insights. This culminated in a defined fee pricing scale for the university and its peers.
