Nexcelle
Nexcelle is an engine nacelle industry leader in integrated propulsion systems for a wide range of aircraft. Bringing together the capabilities of GE Aviation's Middle River Aircraft Systems and the Safran group's Aircelle company, this joint venture has teamed with CFM International to develop, produce and support integrated propulsion systems for applications of CFM engines.
We worked with a multi-disciplined team from both groups to develop a brand foundation to include the brand value proposition and brand character. The brand foundation work created the criteria that was used to evaluate and generate the development of a relevant and distinctive name and identity to express the new joint venture.
The symbol conveys the primary function of the nacelle. The nacelle protects the aircraft engine and controls and regulates the flow of air currents. The symbol abstractly reflects the shape of a nacelle, and the two shapes working together convey the collaborative nature of the joint venture.
